Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of coursecast — the website, command-line tools, and services that turn a prompt into an interactive course (together, the “Service”), operated by Tomas Sestak, based in the Czech Republic (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to register.

  • One person or entity per account.
  • Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use at security@trycoursecast.com.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break the law, or infringe anyone’s intellectual-property or privacy rights.
  • Generate content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or that promotes harm to people.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, overload, or attempt to bypass the limits or security of the Service.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service itself, as opposed to the courses you create.

We may suspend accounts that we reasonably believe violate these rules, and may remove content that does.

Credits & billing

Creating an account is free. To generate courses you buy credit packs as one-time payments through our payment processor, Stripe — currently $3 for 1 credit, $10 for 5, and $29 for 20. One credit generates and hosts one interactive course. There are no subscriptions, no plans, and nothing recurring: you are charged once, at purchase, and never again unless you choose to buy another pack.

  • Credits never expire — use them whenever you like.
  • If a course generation fails, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.
  • Unused packs can be refunded within 14 days — see our Refund Policy for details.
  • Prices may change over time, but credits you have already purchased keep working at no extra cost.
  • We do not store full card numbers — payment details are handled by Stripe.

Your content and courses

You own the course files you generate. The interactive courses, HTML, and assets produced for you through the Service are yours to keep, host, modify, and sell. Every finished course can be downloaded as a .zip of self-contained HTML, and what you do with those files is up to you. We claim no ownership over your generated output.

You grant us a limited license to process your prompts and store your output solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring the topics and materials you submit do not infringe others’ rights.

Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including our software, branding, and documentation — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service; they do not transfer any rights in the Service to you.

AI-generated output & disclaimers

Courses are generated by automated systems and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for reviewing generated content before you publish or rely on it.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings. Deleting your account removes your hosted courses and forfeits any remaining credits; the course files you have already downloaded are unaffected. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends — but the course files you have already downloaded remain yours.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-product. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
